Mr. Mohammed S. Awal is a political scientist and development researcher. He represents the Oti Region and serves as a Research Manager and Team Lead for Governance and Social Accountability at the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana). He holds an M.Phil. in Political Science and B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy, both from the University of Ghana, Legon.
