Mr. David Yenukwa Kombat, representing the North East Region is a retired senior Public Servant with 30 years of distinguished service at the Ghana Statistical Service. Joining the Service in January 1990 as an Assistant Statistician, he rose to the rank of Chief Statistician in 2013. He served as Director for several Directorates, Deputy Government Statistician, and Acting Government Statistician before retiring in March 2020.

Mr. Kombat holds a Master’s degree in Population Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon. He has been involved in national census operations and statistical reporting.
