Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson is a Ghanaian economist and chartered accountant who currently serving as the Minister for Finance. He holds a PhD in Finance and a MSC in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), as well as a MSC in Taxation from the University of Oxford.

He earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from London South Bank University. Professionally, Dr. Forson is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana. His strong technical background in finance, taxation, and accounting is contributing significantly to Ghana’s economic and fiscal management.
