Mr. Kofi Nsiah-Poku is the Managing Director of Kina Group and the vice chair of the Commission. He is a seasoned Consultant Pharmacist with expertise in pharmaceutical production and food processing. Mr. Nsiah-Poku received his “O” and “A” level education at Opoku Ware School, where he served as Assistant School Prefect.
He later proceeded to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to study Pharmacy.. He has since undertaken several Executive Development Programmes (EDP) at GIMPA in Finance, Strategic Marketing, Administration, Human Resource Management and Corporate Governance. Mr Kofi Nsiah- Poku is a distinguished alumnus of KNUST, Kumasi. Starting life as a Teaching Assistant after graduation, he spent five years teaching at the faculty of pharmacy, KNUST after which he left to run and grow his retail pharmacy business.

He is the founder and Chairman of the following companies:

1. Kinapharma Ltd, one of the top three Pharmaceutical manufacturing companies’ in Ghana currently producing in excess of 160 different brands of medicines for most basic ailments.
2.  Xpert Security Ltd, a cutting-edge electronic security firm headquartered in Ghana.
3. Healthilife Beverages Ltd, a company that uses third generation tetrapak technology involved in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of world class quality fruit juices, nectars, drinks and milk based products. Healthilife also produces the MINUTEMAID brand for Coca-Cola Ghana.
4. Green Diamond Estates and Resorts Ltd. Engaged in the development and running of luxury and premium rated residential complexes in first class neighborhoods throughout the country

Mr Nsiah-Poku is a fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana and the West African College of Pharmacists, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing,Ghana (CIMG), former WHO adviser on Pre-Packed anti-malarias, and R & D Consultant on anti-malarial production for clinical studies in Africa.

Mr Nsiah-poku has won many awards including;

1. Marketing Man of the Year 2004, KNUST Alumnus of the year 2005,
2. Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana- Industrial Pharmacist of the Year 2006,
3. Opoku Ware School- First Recipient of the distinguished Alumnus award 2008,
4. Ghana Football Association- Award for first Ghanaian sponsor of the Premier League 2009
5. EY - Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year for West Africa- 2015
6. Honorary Doctor of pharmacy for services to pharmaceutical education and manufacturing in Ghana from the University of Health & Allied Sciences, Ho –Ghana
7. CEO of the year- PSGH Pharma Excellence Award 2025
