Ms Angela Emefa Kpegah is the Director, General Services at National Development Planning Commission (NDPC). She is responsible for providing strategic leadership and administrative direction for the management of resources for the achievement of the Commission’s mandate. She oversees the Human Resources, Finance and Accounts, Procurement and Supply, Information Technology, Administration, Transport and Estates functions at NDPC. Angela also serves as the Secretary to the Commission and is responsible for providing support and advice to board members, as well as communicating decisions of the board and ensuring decisions are effectively implemented. Angela joined NDPC in 2018 as Deputy Director, HR and was appointed the Ag. Director for General Services in the same year. Prior to joining NDPC, Angela worked as a HR Manager for Academy Enterprise Trust, UK, where she was a member of the Senior Leadership Team. With over 20 years of management, HR and leadership experience in a variety of fast-paced corporate environments in UK including Ark Schools and London Borough of Barnet, she brings a wealth of experience to her role. She has excellent analytical, interpersonal, negotiating and organisational skills. Angela serves on a number of committees and technical working groups where her vast experience and knowledge in Human Resources, Policy formulation, Governance and Leadership are brought to bear on national development. Angela holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (2005) from the Hull University, UK, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Greenwich School of Management, UK, and an HND in Management Information Systems from IMIS, UK. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), UK. Angela brings to the Commission, a unique combination of skills and experience in management, organisational leadership, governance, policy formulation and human resources strategy. She believes in achieving success by using effective systems, implementing sound policies and procedures, developing and sustaining effective people relationships, systematic deployment of resources and demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence.
