Prof. Agnes Atia Apushigah is an Associate Professor/ Dean at the Faculty of Education, University of Development Studies, Tamale, Northern Region, Ghana.  She was also an Associate Professor/Head of Department (June 2013- August 2015) at the Department of Developmental Education and Educational Foundations Studies, Faculty of Education, UDS, Tamale, Ghana.

She holds M.Ed. Curriculum Studies, Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, Ph.D. Cultural Studies and Curriculum Studies, Queens University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and B.Ed. Educational Foundations/ Dip. Economics from the University of Cape Coast.
