Felix Addo-Yobo is currently the Director, Development Policy Division at the NDPC with over 20 years of progressive technical and management experience in the Development Policy Planning, Environmental Engineering and Management. Prior to his current position, was the Deputy Director (Environmental Policy). Felix also served as the coordinator for Ghana’s SDGs Implementation Coordinating Committee (ICC) where he played a lead role in setting-up Ghana’s SDGs implementation architecture. He also led the preparation of Ghana’s SDGs baseline report and coordinated the Voluntary National Review (VNR) on the SDGs.
Between 2002 and 2005, Felix was as a Research Scholar with the Water, Engineering and Development Centre (WEDC) in the United Kingdom, and then worked as Civil/Environmental Engineer with Jacobs Engineering U.K. limited from 2005 to 2013. At Jacobs, Felix led the design and implementation of drainage and flood risk assessment works on major infrastructure projects across United Kingdom, Australia and the Republic of Ireland. Felix also worked briefly with Comptran Engineering and Planning Associates in Accra as a Graduate Engineer.
Felix holds an MSc and PhD degrees in Water and Environmental Management from the Loughborough University, UK, having previously obtained a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, in Ghana. He is a member of both the Ghana Institution of Engineers and the Ghana Institute of Planners.
