Dede Bedu-Addo holds an MSc. In International Development (Poverty, Inequality and Development ) from the University of Birmingham, UK. She also holds a combined BA. Hons Degree in French and Kiswahili from the University of Ghana, Legon. Dede has had professional training in gender and women’s right, Business Administration/ Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Rural Poverty Alleviation, Organizational Development (Doctorate level course), M&E, Public-Private- Partnership arrangements, HIV/AIDS, Gender and Energy, Gender and Natural Resources among other national issues.
Since 1993, Dede has held different positions with some local and International Organizations. She completed a two-year contract with SNV (Netherlands Development Organization) Ghana as Gender and Organizational Development advisor. Prior to that she worked with ActionAid International for seven and half years. There, Dede first worked with in the Ghana Office and then in the Africa Regional Office holding different gender and HIV/AIDS at the local and International levels.
