Mrs. Dede Bedu-Addo holds an MSc. In International Development (Poverty, Inequality and Development) from the University of Birmingham, UK. She obtained a combined BA. Hons Degree in French and Kiswahili from the University of Ghana, Legon. Mrs. Dede has had professional training in gender and women’s right, Business Administration/ Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Rural Poverty Alleviation, Organizational Development (Doctorate level course), M&E, Public-Private-Partnership arrangements, HIV/AIDS, Gender and Energy, Gender and Natural Resources among other national issues.

Since 1993, Mrs. Bedu-Addo has held different positions with some local and International Organizations. She completed a two-year contract with SNV (Netherlands Development Organization) Ghana as a Gender and Organizational Development Advisor. Prior to that, she worked with ActionAid International for seven and a half years. There, she first worked within the Ghana Office and then in the Africa Regional Office holding different gender and HIV/AIDS positions at the local and international levels.
