Most Rev. Matthew Kofi Gyamfi is a Catholic Bishop of Sunyani. Born on August 11th, 1957. He obtained MA. Environmental Geography from the University of Toronto, Canada, Ph.D. in Geography from same University, M.Ed. Theory and Policy Studies in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto, Canada, M.Ed. and a BA. Hons 1st class Geography and Resource Development and History from the University of Ghana, Lagon.
Most Rev. Matthew Gyamfi is the Episcopal Chairman of Catholic University College of Ghana, Fiapra, and a member of the Governing Council of Catholic University College of Ghana. He is also the Episcopal Chairman of the Department of Social Communication, Episcopal Chair for Education, and Acting Chairman of the Governing Council of Catholic University College of Ghana.
As a Catholic Bishop of Sunyani, he is often invited as a key note speaker at many occasions on various themes, or topics at the local, national and international levels. Some of his talks have been published in The Catholic Standard and other Magazines.
