He was born on the 29^th of September 1982 in Techiman. He is a native of Jeyiri in the Upper West Region. He has MSc. Economics from the University of Manchester, MA. Economics, Columbia University, New York, MRes. Economics, University of Manchester and Ph.D. Economics, University of Manchester.

He was a macroeconomics consultant at the United Nations (UN) (2021), and also a Researcher in macroeconomics, macroeconomics policy, debt sustainability, forecasting, at the research department, Africa Development Bank Group (AfDB) 2017/2018. He was also an Economics lecturer, School of Economics, University of Cape Coast.
