Hon. Ignatius Baffour-Awuah is currently the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations and Member of Parliament for Sunyani West Constituency. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Accounting), PG Diploma (Management Consultancy), FCIPM (Management Consultancy) and FPMA (Management Consultancy).

He served as District Chief Executive of Sunyani District Assembly under former President J. A. Kufuor’s government. He later became the Deputy Regional Minister for the then Brong-Ahafo Region and subsequently became the Regional Minister under the same Kufuor administration.
