Dr. Mrs. Henrietta Abane is a highly motivated Professional Teacher with twenty years of teaching in a Higher Educational Institution supervising Undergraduate and Graduate theses, dissertations and project works, conducting researches and engaging in community outreach programs.

Dr. Mrs. Henrietta was born on the 24^th of January, 1961 in Cape Coast and is an Associate Professor (Development Studies, Gender and Development, Poverty and Livelihood Studies). She obtained an M. Phil Sociology in 1999 from the University of Cape Coast and a PhD Development Studies from the University Leeds, UK.
