Dr. Anthony Yaw Baah is the Secretary General of the Trade Unions Congress. He was born in Sunyani on 27^th December 1966. He is a board member of the Management Committee, Institute for Statistical, Social and Economic Research, University of Ghana, Legon; National Tripartite Committee and the Vice Chairman of the Public Services Joint Standing Negotiating Committee (PSNJC).

He holds an MSc. Financial Economics, Norwegian School of Management, Oslo, Norway, and a PhD. in Economics from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom and a BA (Hons) Economics with French from the University of Ghana, Legon.
